‘Bloodwedding’ out in Egypt and Spain

The Arabic and Spanish language rights to Bloodwedding, a graphic novel adaption by Henrik Rehr and Cav Bøgelund of Federico Garcia Lorca’s play, has just been put under contract with Mahrousa Center Publishing in Cairo and Yeray Ediciones in Spain.

“The artist of the book, Cav Bøgelund, unfortunately passed away in 2018,” Henrik Rehr writes on Facebook. “I wish he could have seen his book in Arabic and Spanish.”

The Spanish edition, “From Bodas de Sangre, la novela grafica” will be out in Spanish Friday, March 31st. The publishing date of the Egyptian version is yet to be announced.
