THE CHAIR, that ran away from home,( in Danish STOLEN der løb hjemmefra) is a silent picturebook with 72 linoleum prints, in colour mode illustrations. Prints are printed by the artists in limited edition. Picture book size 24,5×17,5 cm.
A chair came to live with a girl. But as the girl used the chair to ride on, it ran away from home and ended up in a furniture store. The shop keeper loved to listen to the chair’s stories but as the chair was new it didn’t have much to tell and was put up for sale. One by one, the chairs were sold except for the girl’s chair. The chair now longed for the girl. But then one day something happened…
