Henriette is constantly working on new comic books, and she has no intention of stopping any time soon.

Jonas W. DoctorJonas W. Doctor made his debut in 2020 with the fantasy comic Tales from the Distant Realm – The Legend of Ivan the Knight, which was nominated for the Claus Deleuran Award for Best Debut.
Growing up immersed in role-playing games, Dragonlance, and Conan the Barbarian, Jonas developed a lifelong passion for fantasy. This love of the genre has inspired his Tales from the Distant Realm series.
Trained as an animator, he spent many years working on animated films, short films, and commercials before deciding to leave the animation industry to become a teacher. Today, he writes, illustrates, and colors his comics himself, with a style deeply influenced by his background in animation.
Jonas lives in rural North Zealand (Denmark) with his wife and their two sons.

Bjørk Matias FriisBjørk is a selftaught illustrator and comic artist, working from Copenhagen. His works are mostly historical in nature, with a flair of mythology, mystique and the fantastical.
A lot of his works dives into the heart of old cultures and myths, and seeks to interpret and retell ancient tales not usually put in the spotlight by modern media.
Having worked with several historical museums in both Denmark and Germany, Bjørks craft has also been made into educational material and animation. His comic book series “Tall Tales of Midgard” will have it’s fourth volume out in spring, 2025.

Jens Olaf Pepke PedersenBorn in 1958. He holds a PhD in physics and is a senior researcher at the Danish National Space Institute, where he conducts research into climate change. He has previously worked at the universities of Aarhus and Copenhagen, the CERN research centre in Geneva and several US universities.

In “The Danish Samurai”, we follow the Danish girl Regitze, who doesn’t just dream: as a child in Copenhagen in 1882, as a young woman in Yokohama in 1890, and as an adult back in Copenhagen in 1925, she is… the Danish Samurai. In the final chapter, Regitze fights a hundred yōkai monsters.
Regitze is a fictional character, but at the end of the 19th century and the early 20th century, there was significant interest in Japan and samurai culture in Europe and the US. The comic and the afterword deals with this remarkable period.

Martin researches topics such as cosplay, Danish K-pop fans, South and North Korean comics, shamanism, and samurai.
