The Claus Deleuran Awards was handed out last Sunday at Bogforum, the annual Danish book in Copenhagen attracting more than 30000 guests. The prize ceremony took place in the comics area with nominees contesting in five categories:
Best Danish Album in 2020:

Best Danish Album Debut in 2020:

• HARALD BLÅTAND by Nikolaj Lauritzen
• LEGENDEN OM RIDDER IVAN by Jonas Doctor

The winners
The winner of the “Best Author” category was Lars Kramhøft, who last year published the acclaimed Something Awful Is Always About To Happen autobiography about a young man trying to find love and success in the brutally competitive creative world.
“Best Danish Album Debut” was Tomas Lagermand Lundme and Fred Tornager’s “Min nat med dig” (My Night with you) from Fahrenheit. Karoline Stjernfelt won three prizes for “Best Danish Album”, “Best Artist” and “Best Colourist” for her work on “I morgen bliver bedre – Dronningen” (Tomorrow will be better – The Queen) from Cobolt Comics.
